Expired
My LifeI was on my way to work when I see a cop in front of me driving slowly, he even stopped at a green light. I drove past him and I guess he was just waiting for someone to come along and pull over. All of a sudden he was behind me and I knew I was getting pulled over. I kept my eye on the rear view mirror and then I saw the flashing lights so I pull over to the side of what little road there was. I know there is no reason for him to pull me over, he just needed to pull someone over so I was curious to what he was going to say. He sashays his way to me and says ‘I pulled you over because you have expired tabs’. Yeah right. I know I got those puppies back in September when they expire. Apparently I’m wrong. He ran my plates and they came up expired, all while taking his sweet time and me getting late for work. When he came back to me with ticket in hand, I’m trying to get him to give me my ticket (124$) so I can go, I’ll take care of this matter later. Seeing me trying to rush him, he starts to lecture me on having an attitude and not respecting him. Respect. You’re making me late to my job, you’ve done your job, let me go. Ugh.
I ended up being ten minutes late for work but I didn’t get in trouble, that I know of. After work I run to the DMV to get my tabs/check to see if I did and guess what, they tell me I have to have an emissions test to get my tabs. See, I know I already got them but now I have to pay for emissions too. I’m begining to think this is a conspiracy. Now I rush over to get the emissions test and thankfully there is no line. My car ofcourse passes and I run back to the DMV. Okay she says, you also need new plates for your car and now the total is 88$. Oh really? Any other ridiculous fees/charges you want to get me for (I’m now up to 103$, 15 for the emission)? And ofcourse they don’t take debit/credit cards but they conveniently have an atm there that charges a 2$ fee. All in all, I spent 229$ just for waking up today.
I think I’ll go to bed early so I don’t do anymore damage to my already non existant bank account.

Wow it is very expensive to be a car owner. And people wonder why I’m not in a hurry to get my license! I would be so mad if that happened to me. Good thing you didn’t get in any trouble at work though.
I don’t like comments that people leave on blogs either. The ones who are all ‘Nice site, look at mine!’ Obviously if you leave a nice comment, and the owner is nice, they’ll eventually look at your site when they go to comment back. It’s only common sense.

I know right? The motivation you get from people using your stuff is awesomeee. But yeah, I hate American IDOL! THE FIRST TIME, it was great. The second one, still good. Then afterward, I was like, “omg really? you guys are still going?!”

Oh My ..GOODNESS what the hell @ your situation. I can’t believe you got pulled over for expired tabs & then had to get an emissions test..(good thing your car passed though) & then randomly pay for new plates?! I’ve never heard that one before. I can’t believe they don’t accept debit/credit cards either. That’s just ridiculous. As if it were a conspiracy for sure..or fraud..or something. :|
I’m sorry you had to go through that..at least you didn’t get in trouble at work. That’d be reallllly bad if you lost your job.

Yikes. You spent so much for the day. That must’ve sucked big time. I’d be pretty pissed if that happened to me.. it’s like it was destined for you to spend so much on a single day :s I’m sure you’ll have better moments in the coming days

I hate police that just LOOK for something to pull you for. Sorry it costs so much. I think the DMV is a conspiracy…if it’s not your tags expiring it’s your licenses every 5 years…then you have to pay extra for that Dx

Yeah I also find it difficult to comment on really really really long blogs about absolutely nothing. Well actually, in general, long blogs are not inviting to me. I don’t want to read an essay about someone’s day. That just doesn’t interest me & I skim through it because it’s not like they read my blog thoroughly.
How do people think that writing 2000 word blogs = LOTS OF COMMENTS. I have found that my shortest blogs always get the most comments because it’s easier for people to read..but I don’t even care about the number of comments, I care about people’s feedbacks. It’s always so discouraging when they leave you a really half-assed comment like, “yeah..i agree…”
